Apples onlt true USP in the phone market was "Not Microsoft". Microsoft dropped way off the radar in that market at kleast a decade ago (not that they were ever really in it) but Apple fans never actually noticed.
They should get the Beach Boys (or Jan & Dean) to update one of their old 50s/60s songs to "Be Loyal to Your Phone". Enough dumb cunts around in both camps to make it a serious hit.

Had both. The good thing about Samsung over iPhone is that you can do what you want with it rather than what Apple want you to do with it.
Oh, that and it's a better phone too. My 7edge pisses over the best iPhone.

It does make me laugh that there are some who see there phone as some kind of status symbol “Look at me with my iPhone” im RICH!
Don’t Apple also charge extra for certain colours? So to get real snobby you have to have the right colour for another 100 notes?
Don’t get me wrong here, the iPhone is a nice bit of kit (as is the Samsung) but so are the Motorola or Nexus at half or a quarter of the price, well done to Apple as all the sheep that follow them always blindly have to keep up with the Jones by getting the latest Phone each time its released.

I got my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge 3 days ago. It's fucking excellent and I am surprisingly pleased, the last Samsung phone I had that I liked was the Note 2
I considered the Note 7 but I thought it was waaay to pricey. And that's probably because it has the so far unique ability to also be an improvised explosive device it would seem.

If we're pitching in with phone handsets, my current handset of choice is a Motorola Razr V3 - an ORIGINAL metal clamshell one, - a real man's phone; not one of those poncy plastic "I need to ask the phone when I can go for a shit" types.
Makes & receives calls & texts, which is what I want, not what somebody else needs me to want.

I still use the Nexus 5, its 3 years old, updates itself to the latest android release, great internet connectivity and speed and cost about a third less than the Note 3 which was the latest Samsung back then.
The Note 3 is long gone but you can still buy the Nexus 5, and its about the quarter of the price of the Note 7.
Did have to get it a new Battery a few months ago, but saved myself a bundle by not having the latest expensive short lasting Samsung or Apple fashion accessory instead.
